As a former RSPB Field Teacher and current assistant Countryside Ranger I have gained a great depth of experience and knowledge particularly with subjects and projects linked to the Curriculum for Excellence, Green Flag and other outdoor environmental schemes.
Topics range from Birds in Winter, Animals in Winter, Wildlife in and around your School, How to improve your school grounds for wildlife to acting as a self employed Countryside Information and Interpretation Guide on your outdoor expeditions and activities.
Comments made by 2 Falkirk Council Schools:
"They said: they liked the props and that there was a story behind each photograph, knowing that you had taken all of the photos made them listen to what you were saying. They enjoyed the naming animals game and the questions on each slide. They all said you made the information really interesting through your teaching style. I have put the photos of your visit on our school website in the Eco Group section if you want to take a look. Again, many thanks for a super presentation".

On behalf of the school and the Eco group I would like to thank you very much for your entertaining and interesting input on wildlife photography and conservation.
Katie has been off ill so could not feedback personally, however, she advised that the children were engaged and excited by your input.
This was a valuable and different addition to Eco Day and we would be happy to recommend you to other schools.
